When all 4 phases of the airport's construction, which is expected to be completed in 2028, will be completed, it will reach an annual passenger capacity of more than 200 million and will be the largest airport in the world. It offers flights to more than 300 destinations with 6 runways and 500 aircraft.
Istanbul Airport has the largest terminal building under a single roof in the world. This terminal hosts both domestic and international flights. The largest duty-free centre in the world is located in this terminal.
